Exquisite Hand Crafted Chop Cup Set with Custom Case: amazing craftsmanship from Morocco

This may be the nicest chop cup set i have ever countered for shear beauty and function.  The gentleman who made them was from Morocco and unfortunately has passed away so nothing like this is currently being made. His real name was Noureddine Bellaoui, but went by the stage name of MagicNoor (all one word).

The container holds the cup, the load ball and the drawer below holds 4 balls, 2 chopped and two un-gimmicked.  The the container and part of the chop cup are made from a rare wood called thuya, that only grows in the Atlas Mountains of Morocco and makes for an incredible piece of magic and one of the most beautiful display pieces you will ever find. The bottom of the container is recessed to hold the load ball and the cup perfectly. the lid has “recessed” areas which assured perfect alignment of the lid.

The cup itself is is wonderfully turned from multiple woods and the chop ball functions with just the correct amount of “kling”.  THe cup is 2.5×2.5 inches. The container top in inlaid with a silver design.

If you cannot tell I really like this piece.  If i were a collector it would be setting center on my shelf of close up magic and brought out to perform on special occasions. It is a showpiece. Gem mint condition.
