The Three Brothers or The Mystery of the Mummy: Francois Danis: France #18 of a limited edition of fine micro magic

You would have to put his work up against any of the miniature magic craftsman of the day.  Francois was just featured in the Linking Ring (along with this piece) so go check it out.

The effect is a spectator is shown a small chest and it is opened to reveal three mummies and a sarcophagus. A drawer is opened from the case and a beautiful Egyptian themed plaque is removed. The drawer is closed. The spectator is asked to remove one of the mummies and place it into the sarcophagus and then place the sarcophagus on the plaque resting on the table and close the lid of the chamber (cabinet). The Magician does not see any of this action.  The chest is placed on the table and the magician concentrates.  He then correctly names the color of the chosen mummy (effect #1).  The lid is then removed from the small sarcophagus and the mummy is gone! (effect #2).  Then the bottom drawer of the Small chamber (cabinet) is opened and the vanished chosen mummy found inside! (effect 3)!.

This is not only strong magic but certainly one of the most beautiful pieces of miniature magic available. The chest is 6×4.25×2.75 inches. New condition.  #18 of a limited edition handcrafted in 2017.  The effect is signed dated and numbered on the bottom of the lower drawer with the matching number instruction sheet also signed.
